It was written to encourage parents to never cross the line between discipline and abuse so that children are not damaged by anger because they become damaged adults.

It was written to encourage parents to look down the road and think about the type of relationship they want with their children when they are adults and encourages each parent to put in the work for that relationship now. These words are to encourage you to spend time talking to your children when they are young so they will be comfortable talking to you when they are adults.

This book was written to remind you that a tree cannot grow outside of its proper environment. Trees grow in different environments, but it must be the proper environment. Create the best environment so that your child grows up to be a happy, whole, healthy adult.

Again, this book was written to remind you that you can choose to parent with joy, and the choice is up to you. You can do it! You can make taking care of your children a joy and not a job.
